Dress Code at PICMET’16
Dress code is informal throughout the conference. The Hawaiian "Aloha Shirt" is popular in Hawai'i. PICMET guests can wear it with trousers/skirts or shorts (smart short, not swimming short) in the sessions, Sunday welcoming reception and Monday Luau dinner. Jeans are not appropriate. Regular shoes and sandals can be worn, but flip flops should not be used.
Business attire is recommended for the Awards Banquet on Tuesday. Business attire in Hawaii means trousers and Aloha shirt or regular shirt with or without (mostly without) coat and tie for men and similar for women.
HAWAIIAN SHIRT SHOPPE will have a representative with a variety of Aloha shirts for our guests who might want to purchase them during the conference.
