Portland, known as "the City of Roses", one of the favorite destinations on the West coast. Portland, situated approximately 70 miles from the Pacific Ocean where the Columbia River meets the Willamette River, has a magnificent setting, combining sparkling waterways with lush greenery rarely found in urban settings.   Beautiful Nature  Nature in Oregon is certainly wonderful. Japanese Garden: The Japanese Garden, proclaimed one of the most authentic outside of Japan, is situated just above the International Rose Test Garden.

 Portland Art Museum: Portland is justly famous for its dramatic and dynamic art scene, which really began in 1892 with the establishment of the Portland Art Museum. Although this venerable art museum, established in 1892, houses a large number of international works, its highlight is a renowned collection of Native American art.
